Merging

I have recently downloaded Yorkshire 8 and Yorkshire 6 off the DLS. I need to be able to merge the two together at Bridlington but I am unable to do so as there are no maps to be able to merge . Can some body please point me in the right direction. I only intend to use the routes for my own personal use, as I live in the Hull area and often travel from Hull to Scarborough for pleasure.I was going to attempt tocreate these routes my self but was delighted to find them on the DLS so this has saved me months of work.

Are you sure you downloaded the session or scenario and not the actual map? If this is the case, there will be nothing there to open up in Surveyor. In order to merge, you need to have maps to merge together.

I did a check of my trainz files that i had down loaded and found that i had a virus which had relocated my files into other programes.I checked my anti virus programe and found that my son had de-activated it by mistake. Ran antivirus that worked:mop: , then i individually moved all trainz file to my flash card and returned them to the trainz programe. found what i needed and had great success. My son is now banned from my computer till he is 65. Thanks for your info much appreciated.
