Memberships?

If you Gift Aid your entry fee to Crich Tramway Village, they give you free access for one year. I don't know if this is technically a membership, but it'll be interesting to UK Taxpayers looking for a day out - especially if you've got relatives living nearby. :D

BidMod.

NB: Gift Aiding in UK allows a charity to reclaim from the tax office 28p in every £1 gifted. Thus £1 suddenly becomes £1.28. However, only UK taxpayers can gift aid. It's probably a bit more complex than that, but to the casual visitor this is how it appears. It doesn't cost anything more than usual.

If I've not quite got that right, someone please correct me

Actually, I prefer it as:

"For what ever you donate, the price of that article (books, gaurments, money, etc) and for whatever the price is, gift aid helps add 28% more to the value of that item. However, its only applicable to those who pay national contribution (or tax if you like). If you don't pay any UK tax, then gift aid to any charity is not available."

I have to work with it and TBH, if you saw the shop I work in, you'll understand why I hate it soo much, especially when we have three bays and one of them is crammed full of donations that need to be sorted. The shop is way too small for the job anyway!
