MBTA + Amtrak trainset questions.

Hi, all!

I just bought the Trainz pack last weekend (Trainz 2006 and Classics in one pack), and I'm loving it ever since! I have a couple questions about train models though.

1. I was wondering where or if there's any MBTA trainsets available? I can't seem to find any on DLS. I'm looking for a MBTA F40PH loco, and two types of MBTA cars, the single level cars and the Kawaski double-deckers. Anyone know where I can get those?

2. I'm curious if there's any AEM-7 Amtrak electric locos? I'd like to try to recreate the Amtrak Clocker trainsets.

Thanks and let me know.

Hmm. I still can't find the MBTA stuff and the Phase V Genesis loco. I did find the Amtrak Genesis locos in the Phase III and IV schemes though, but no Phase V scheme.

Here's a few pictures to help those who aren't well versed with the MBTA stuff.

Any idea if anyone is willing to create the MBTA Kawaski bi-level?

I was also wondering if anyone has created or re-painted any F40PH or GP40MC locos into the MBTA scheme in the pictures I posted the links to?

All I could find is the Horizon cars for the MBTA, but it isn't quite prototypical. The only MBTA loco I could find is the F7, and that isn't the loco I need to create a modern day MBTA consist (late 1990's - present day).

Any help with these would be greatly appreciated! Trainz on!

There are some MBTA-reskinned Horizon cars up on the DLS and some Easter Eggs as well, but no F40PHs.

I've also run B&M Budd Liners with Easter Eggs. These mak a nice looking and realistic trainset from the late 80's thru the early 90's.

for the MBTA single level stuff try looking around at Trainz Commuter Rail. As for the Amtrak Gennie AGZ has one available.Just click the image below, then click on "Downloads" and pick out what you want. make sure you read the instructions with the download.

I'm a big MBTA fan, so here is what there is.
F40PH-Last time I checked there are no MBTA F40s for DL, but what I'd suggest is going to protrainz.com and downloading either the blank F40 or the AMtrak by Magicland (AMTK on DLS). Try reskinning, but you'll need permission to release
Single Lvl. Horizon-I know of at least one, trainzeasternroutes, on the DL page.
Horizon Cab-I heard that one has been made from a TC car, not sure where it is if it's available. I'm not sue, I haven't been around much lately, and I don't have TC yet.
Kawasaki Bilvl/Bilevel cab-Not even any models of Kawasakis, closest are the GO cars on protrainz and I believe the DLS too. There are different tho.
