Maybe this thread matters, maybe not..

Well I don't at all mean to make a big scene, but I've been thinking and I've come to a conclusion..I think I'm laying off on the Trainz for this year...for various reasons.

• I need to get proper work done this year and can't be distracted.
  
• Too many crashes to count.
  
• I've never actually been able to follow through and release a credible route to the community.
  
• I think I just need break.

If you wanna like this, ok. If you wanna hate it, fine. Doesn't mean I'm gunna leave the community.

Moving away from the funny items, Trainz is a hard program to get working and it can be annoying. To some of us it is not a hobby its a life, but to many more its just a hobby. You should play Trainz, just don't play it as much as you did.

Ya...it's more of a hobby for me and I really should be working this year...I need two credits this year that I didn't get last year because I was goofing off on TRS and didn't get my work done when I needed to be doing it.

It was an addiction for me. That's why my marks were lousy last year. I was surveying when I should've been doing essay's and I'm in remedial math class because of my antics.

ALWAYS DO WORK WHEN IT'S ASSIGNED. Trust me.

But I still check out what you guys contribute to the screenshots and freeware threads.

I'm supposing PC crashes ? Crashing trainz is unavoidable, and thats the way you learn how to run a locomotive and train handling.

You will, and I bet your attempts have some great merit, and we could all learn from seeing your routes and screenshots. What type of route are you trying to recreate ?

Oh yeah..it's a downright obsession for us!:hehe:
I guess working on this months TM article for two hours straight editing it wasn't normal huh?
Oh well...I never let anything interfere with my studies.
I always start my TM column early, that way I have time for both it and school. School is a requirement for life, not an option.
TM is a commitment I made and will stick to.
Trainz is my hobby, a hobby I work hard in school to earn.
It is like a circle really, do one thing to earn another whilst using the skills you learn to manage time to do things you've commited to...

You think two hours is bad. Try 18 hours of Trainz and TM. I have to take 15 min naps during slow days. I stile do not get to answering emails and so on.

Haha I forgot to point out that I'm laying it off just for the school year to get some work done. Summer 10' I suppose...
