Maximum Screen resolution in Trainz 2009

Hi All,

I am using Trainz to build a simulation of a skirmish that occurred in the American Civil War. I started by loading DEM data for the area and the scene is now fairly complete. I want to create prints from different views. So far, the only way I know to get a screen capture is through the OS (Windows) with a "Prnt Scrn". I have a dual monitor setup and I'm able to capture based on the maximum limits of my two monitors which is 2880 X 1024. I would like to get as big as possible but I may need to go to higher res monitors and a quad video card. Before I do that, I wanted to see if anyone knows if there may be a hard limit on the maximum resolution that Trainz 2009 can do. Does anyone know this?

There are a lot of screen capture utilities out there, just google for them. A lot of these are free or share ware versions. I use Hard Copy for my screen captures, where one can configure several options of capture.

Re resolution, I have a a feeling, it is not so much the resolution the game supports, it is more likely what your monitor(s) can do resolution wise. Just my opinion.

I'm not quite sure about what you're trying to achieve.

When you say you want to get as big as possible, do you mean you want to capture a larger area of the scene or what?
