When I enlisted, and took Power Generator training ... they told me that there was no railroad in any of the armed services ... and they shipped me off to Bumfugt Alaska ... (This was the days before the PC, when every electronic item was "solid state" ... so researching this would have been using the Encyclopedia Britanica) !
