Mark One Coach Persistent Hiss

Has anyone come across this with the Railsim UK/S&C Mark Ones in TS2010? Whether static or moving, interior or exterior view, even sitting in the cab there is an annoying persistent and constant "hiss hiss" sound playing. Sounds a bit like an idling steam engine but whatever it is, there seems to be no way of stopping it. Rather annoying as the coaches are brilliant and by far the best ones with an interior view if you want to take in a route as a passenger.

Hmm, don't know the cars in question, but it sounds as the break cylinder sound keeps looping. I had this long ago with NG switch levers that kept turning over. The remedy lied in the sound section of the config.txt.
I can only say grab a CCGTC and start digging.

Greetings from drizzly Amsterdam,

I have those assets Vern and also the same problem that comes with them. It is nothing to do with the sound of steam as the same hiss can be heard when connected to a diesel unit.

With me it only occurs when the carriages in question are stationary and after you have been running them for about 10 to 15 minutes. It's a shame about the problem as they are great models otherwise.

It's definitely not a steam heat hiss, which shouldn't be evident from the cab anyway. The closest I can come to describing it is the sound that used to play when you hovered near a fruit farm in Railroad Tyccon 2.

This was a bug with the original releases. Download the updated versions from the S&C support website and it should be resolved.

Mike.
