Maple Creek Railroad

Hello all!

I've made this thread to show screenshots of my latest route, Maple Creek Railroad.
I've made it to run 1950's era US locomotives. This is Oak Flats station in pic:

I've got more texturing done now and added more scenery, so i'll post some more shots later.

Please feel free to comment and post constructive criticism.

that is amazing,the detail is magnificent!

You can rotate each tree differently, move them about so that they are all in line with each other, and raise & lower the height of each inividual tree so that it doesn't look so repiticious. Also several different genus of tree look more like real world.

good start like cascade said rotate the trees or use the same tree in different sizes .

Ok, here is some from me.

If you were wanting to have it be the 1950s, I would have used the 1950s car set up( I can tell from the pics that those are modern day cars) and mabie running older cars with the eninges could help, but other than that its a good start!

if you are modeling the 50's,you could do the period where the railroad does the transition from steam to diesel locomotives,but it still looks good never the less!

Its sort of like a railroad museum. Its based in the modern days, but uses 1950's locomotives and rollingstock.

Also, I used the "random rotate" or whatever its called (in the surveyor menu) for the trees at the station. :wave:
