Magic Track

Hi all,Anyone had this one. In one of my driver sessions, I have had a scrambled piece of track appear at one of my junctions. So thinking a database repair needed,so dont save that session and do the repair. Restart session ,still there. Go into surveyor, thinking I can do a quick rebuild, wrong. Dont seem to be able to delete this scrambled track, move it or even identify it. So at present I have done a rebuild around it. Any suggestions....Have also done the ex database repair. quite odd.

Sounds like a screwed route file; I have experienced something similar in the past. If so, you cant do anything.

But lets see if it might be something different...:
What build of TS12 are you running? If something below 49922, start with patching to at least 49922.
Did you check if it might be on a locked layer or accidently saved to a session?

I have absolutely "NO IDEA" of what a scrambled track iz, let alone "Magic Track" ? ? ?

I have scrambled eggs an' chez', wit' bacon bits, and a scant of milk, and made creamy fluffy eggs in a fry pan ... YUM !

Was the track by any chance attached to a fixed object, such as a level crossing or interative object? If so there is a recurring bug in Trainz where a spline will become detached but then imovable. The workround is to add a spline point bewtween the end of the section and the next spline point, at which point it should be possible to delete the rogue end.

The fault can also occur if you use the "undo" button on spline placements etc.

In any event, sounds like you have a major corruption of your track data and building round will not really solve the problem, which more than likely will recur and could trash your route if you don't deal with the affected section.

Do have the barley factory near this bug track but not attached any where close, Lost many routes, dont want to lose this 2yrs in the making and 1yr in debugging.thanks again.
