I have downloaded this LU train.
I am just wondering how I go about changing the red colour to the original grey colour.
I dont know anything about creating re-skins.

I have seen this stock in various colours in my visits to London, Red, Green and metallic. It was long ago,so don't ask which line. But in one trip with my dad, we switched lines somewhere from a red to a green train, when we visited Oxford Street.
Red is the original colour as stated in the description. All London UndergrounD trains were that colour for that period, having replaced the red/cream scheme.
No, LU 1938 stock are steel cars, so were painted red from the outset. The 1956 stock, which are very similar, got left unpainted because they were built using aluminium for the body panelling, so don't rust on the bodies and so did subsequent stock until the 1990s, when they were all painted (bar D stock) in LU red, white and blue livery as the unpainted aluminum did have big troubles withstanding graffiti attacks.
The roof however, is a bit of a different question, IIRC, from new, they had maroon roofs which later were changed to grey. Some 1938 stock cars were later painted in an aluminium like colour to match the 1960 stock driving motors.
