Lost Road Traffic

Hi everyone.
I have lost the road traffic on a route that I am building. This happened before but was solved by merging another build, but this time it hasn't worked.
I have used the 'Toggle Traffic' switch to switch on or off the vehcles but that doesn't help either.
Can anyone offer any help please.
Best wishes to all.
Tony Jeffs.

Check to see if your Region has not reset itself to "Default" as this will be a "traffic stopper".

Hello Tony Jeffs,

I know an easier way to have traffic run on roads and you don't need to go anywhere near kuids, you can change it in Trainz 2009, and here is how it's done...

I've found that if you go to surveyor and click at the bottom of the screen - "create new route" and select (AUSTRALIA) if you want traffic to drive on the left like in Britain, or any other country (USA, FRANCE, GERMANY) for traffic to drive on the right.

Then on the blank baseboard lay a couple of roads in a circle so traffic travels round in a circle. Make sure you see cars on all roads you've placed on the new blank baseboard going round.

Then save your baseboard as "blank" and merge the baseboard with the roads on, to the route you want, for example Glasgow to Falkirk or whatever route you want cars to run on.

Once you have merged your route, you will notice traffic running on all the roads throughout the entire route.

Hope this helps and I'm sure there are other ways of getting traffic to run on roads, but I've found this works for me and it's a lot easier than going into kuid files.

Hi everyone. Thank you all for your replies.
I did as Peter Ware suggested and I have now got my road traffic back. I first of all created a new route and set it up for Australia, like someone else said to do, and then I merged my original route and it worked.
The problem after that was that some of my stations became disconnected from the main line and I lost all the commands and trains that I had set up in the 'Session Rules' section.
All that is now fixed and running well.
Once again many thanks for all your help.
Regards.
