Can anyone tell me if there is a Union Pacific Challenger engine available somewhere, such as Engine #3985 or one of its sisters? I've looked but haven't been able to locate one yet.

I would also be interested in downloading the Daylight passenger train; engine, coaches and all, if it's still available somewhere. I've seen it in screenshots, but can't find it to obtain for myself.

Thanks! :)

I believe the Challenger is available Payware from trainzitalia.

The Daylight is on the DLS. you probably need to check off the version boxes to find it.

I'll check out trainzitalia, but as far as the Daylight goes, only the coaches seem to be on the DLS. I still can't find the loco and the tender.

I believe the last time I checked the challenger is still in production and I don't know when it will be finished, as for the daylight however, there is one on the dls but that is a locomotive way back from the UTC days and another one is in the works but like I said about the challenger I don't know when it is going to be released.

You can find the SP GS-4 Daylight on the DLS. The Kuids are: Engine 59906:4449, and the tender is 59906:2936.

Be sure to check all of the version boxes, as the loco dates back to Feb 2003.

Good luck, Joe

Another site for Southern Pacific cars (including articulated coaches and diners) in the Daylight scheme is ProTrainz (www.Protrainz.com). I haven't checked to see if it's the same equipment that's available on the DLS, and I don't see any SP Daylight locomotives at all, and certainly not the Daylight steam. It's possible that the Daylight equipment is available from the site as premium content, but I've not gotten around to checking that, either.

You may need to download the above referenced loco's dependent assets. If you type in the author's kuid number only, (59906) you'll find them as well as his other locos and rolling stock.

Again, good luck, Joe
