I feel sure that there is a "Drive to/via nearest available trackmark" command, but I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know of it and can tell me where to get it?
Thanks,
Mick Berg.
Thanks, but that's not what I'm looking for. I want my sessions to be completely hands off. I thought I had seen this command, if the first trackmark was not reachable, the train would go to the nearest reachable trackmark.
Thanks,
Mick Berg.
Mick ????????? sorry .don't understand. Drive to/via are built in. Use driver command drop down to activate. In driver setup, when you give AI insruction
a list of TM's should pop up. As barn says, If there are none then you won't get a list.

Hi all.
Maybe I was dreaming! Although my memory plays tricks with me these days, I could swear I saw somewhere the actual command "Drive to Nearest Available Trackmark."
I'm very familiar with the concept of trackmark commands, there are about twenty of them in my Driver Command list.
According to my dream, the idea was to provide an alternative path for a train, if, for example, there was a train waiting at a station platform, and if there was an alternative path availablefor the next train on the line, it would take that instead. The AI does this on its own, of course, but sometimes in a very unrealistic and dangerous way.
Thanks,
Mick Berg.
Andy, you did it again. Thanks for proving I'm not crazy! So it was actually "Drive to first available trackmark".
Thanks mate, you're the best:wave:
