Looking For The Tornado.

Hey All,

I'm very interested in british steam and I am looking for the A1 Tornado. I do not believe that the quality matches the price for paulz trainz. Is there anywhere I can get a free one? I'm also looking for it in this color scheme:

and you know what, i will be buying more OO models and probably more of Gary's loverly work. If the locos that I want are not obtainable from Paul Hobbs, LMS_man, freeware or any other creator baring Barn700, then I'm not going to worry to much.

Unless he improves the quality of his locos by 300% or i'm really desperate for a loco unobtainable somewhere else, Barn700 can for the time being forget about my custom.

All of the creators work at the content at their own time, whether they do this for "profit", as in payware, or as in freeware.

If there's something about the model you don't like, tell him. From what I can see the only difference is the texturing, and that can be redone easily by substituting your own if you want to get that far.

Remember be kind to your content creators!

Well, it's true that he doesn't charge enough for the quality of his releases,

but that should be a bonus for the buyer, not a counter-incentive.

What will the price related quality be, by your parameters, of a free version?

Given that he's been told many times i see no reason to repeat myself again.

it also isn't just texturing problems, its also detail - missing bits here and there that stand out like a sore thumb.

Missing motion parts, for the most part(but they stand out).

I'm Sorry. I didn't know he was a member here. I'm new here and I don't know anyone yet. I was just stating my opinion. I'm not trying to troll, I'm not trying to hurt anyone, I was just stating my opinion....

Believe me, I've tried this with Barn and its got me nowhere and I do wish to see his assets get a lot better. The thing is, I've believe the quality of add-ons for Trainz to be improved over time, yes, I know, those that have not been modelling for long, shouldn't be on the same recieving end as the experience creators, however, I do expect more for someone that has been modelling for several years now and to take criticism, I do, I ask for cirticism and if I get a chance to act on it, I will.
