Looking for some GM buses...

Now T:ANE I can get into
Have any Trainzers ever produced classic GM transit buses, either in the "Old Look" or "New Look" style?

If so, are they drivable, or can they be made so?

Hey there,

I have done a 1969 GM New Look 'Fishbowl' bus, and it's on the DLS, although under a rather cryptic name (GM TDH 5303). It's in Santa Monica livery, i.e. the bus from the film, 'Speed'. ;)

I am working on a re-skin or two, and I do have a drivable version in a beta stage which I can send to you.

Hello Kieran, thank you for the reply. Must've overlooked that because "GM" is too short of a search term.

You don't need to go through the trouble of sending me the beta, but feel free to if you'd like some feedback.

You don't need to go through the trouble of sending me the beta, but feel free to if you'd like some feedback.

PM me with an e-mail address and I'll send it over. :)

It's still a beta and I can't release it just yet because I only have TS2010 to test it in at the moment. I do own TS12 but it isn't working at the moment and its framerate has never been high enough for me to use it on my current computer (which is a fairly low-end laptop; it is a surprise that it can run TS2010).

I've got a new computer (which cost $1600) arriving in a couple of weeks and so I will be able to run TS12 on it, and buy T:ANE and run it as well.

The bus may have a couple of errors, and will probably have some warnings, but they should be easily fixed. I'm not really after feedback but if you have any I'd be happy to hear it.

I can't release it to the masses yet but if a few people want it I'll gladly send it over until such a time as I can get it on the DLS. I'd like people to have it; I didn't create it just to keep it to myself. :D
