All I can think of at the moment for locos are:

- Lion by 'Blue' (updated version by 'johnwhelan'), but she may be a bit too early being from 1838
- The Stirling Single (Stirling GNR No1), also by Blue, and also has an updated version by John Whelan.
- Knucklesandvector has some pre-grouping engines that you may like

For old coaches:
- GNR Third Brake
- GNR Coach Third
- Look up 'knucklesandvector' for some pre-grouping coaches, too

I'm thinking of making Gladstone (the LBSCR 0-4-2) and a Jones Goods but unfortunately I would not be able to release them to the public for a while (or ever, it depends) if I did.

Kieran.

Hi John,

He's fairly new to the content creation scene but does have some really good models available.

All I can really tell you (because it's all that I know myself) is that his name is Max Champion and he has a DeviantArt page (http://old-freddy.deviantart.com/) and a website (kirkronan.webs.com/).

I may have made a small error above, his username may be 'knucklesnvector'.

Kieran.

His assets are also on the DLS, I think he has a few there that have not been put on his website.

Hi

Try searching for the pre grouping companies such as GNR, Midland Railway, Caledonian Railway, NER, LNWR, LBSC, GWR, GER etc. You will have thousands of 'hits' and it will take you some time to go through them but there are quite a lot of gems in there.

Regards

Brian

A quick glance at two of knucklesnvector's carriages at first glance they look as if they might be fairly low poly, but looking closer they seem a little high in poly count at 45,000 and 55,000 polys each plus the same for the shadow mesh and have no lod. Steveflanders work might be of interest. www.ballynagarrick.net/ing4trainz/index.html he has some early GWR stock etc there.

None of this is really going to what I described in the pictures.

Also still nothing under knucklesnvector, you sure you got the right username?

Cutting and pasting knucklesnvector from your message I get 59 assets showing on the DLS searching on the link at the top of the page to the DLS using the default TS12-TS2006 search.

It's obviously to do with the internet filters in the UK so if you jump on a plane to Ottawa and try the search again from this side of the pond I feel sure you'll find them.

It's not a UK problem; I get 64 items searching on author.

Well if its not that then the alternative most probable answer is what we used to call a finger problem, when the end user hits the wrong keys or hasn't been through the relevant training course, but that seems very unlikely in this case. Perhaps reinstall the operating system first before sending him on a training course? I could give him a very reasonably priced one here in Ottawa but with the cost of the flight, hotel and training course it might be cheaper to buy a new computer first to rule out any possibility of a hardware fault.

That has already been mentioned in post #13
Yes, I saw that. I was just being a bit more explicit with regard to the location (white pages) of where the change needs to be made.

I'm pretty sure it's the reason he's getting fails with the search. I've done it many times (and regularly still do!) :o

Maybe we'll get an answer soon.
