Looking for pics of an unusal railcar

Hi, I was in Montana back in 2006, and when I was there I saw an amazing railcar. It was a long flatbed with a wierd lump on the front. When I was leaving Montana, I finally found what it was used for. It hauls Airplane fuselages. Does anyone have any pictures on one of these railcars?

All i have found it this one picture. I was wondering if there it a better picture of it, maybe blueprints.

Thinking about it. Doesn't look too hard, from what I have seen its just a long flatcar with a big bulkhead, that thing at the nose, and something to cradle the fuselage.

If you search for "boeing" at http://www.railpictures.net/ you can find a bunch of pictures. One caveat, though, RailPictures.NET is inundated with annoying popup and flash-based ads, so use a good ad-blocker.

Not 100% sure from the photo but it looks like a car we used on the CPR back in the early 80s to move large pieces for an oil refinery. I do not remember the exact spelling but it is something similar to "schnoble" or "schnobel". (this was long before my stroke and I only know of it from my old ticket books).

The car is designed to be "driven" by an operator to swing out, drop, or raise to avoid limited clearances. The one we used barely did the job with litterally millimeter spacing between the load and the obstructions. Quite an amazing car.

And actually, I'm pretty sure that the airplane is lifted off the car instead of the car coming apart. (Could be wrong though, it wouldn't be the first time! :hehe

The Schnabel (sp?) is a special purpose car for large unusual loads (transformers, big industrial stuff etc); it is also frequently restricted to absurdly low speeds. From what I can glean from the web these Boeing cars are generic 89' and 61' flatcars with some modifications; the large frame at one end that is an ice-breaker (icicles in tunnels, I guess), and the strange closed in shelters with a 45 degree angle on one side that apparently house the tail fins. These cars are up to normal speeds. They shouldn't be all that hard to model either.
