looking for named train

hi all

i am looking for a train that was called silver horizon.
as far as i know it was a limited express train and it ran in the continental usa

looking for a friend who found some old letters from her father when he served in the usa at the end of the ww2

any help would be greatly appreciated

i had also found that one, but she told me that the name of the train was the
Silver Horizon. not the actual wagon

unfortunately not all of the letter was found. it's in pieces and they're trying to reconstruct where he went.
