These all work in 78660, which should be the same.

This is after I changed the Trainz version from 2.1 to 3.7. Everything went from warnings to errors. Seems like everything I try to download is messed up.

LOL! I didn't see you were using T:ANE. Unfortunately that locomotive will not work in T:ANE without some extensive re-work.

Looks like you're out of luck, unless you can talk someone into fixing all those errors, or do a search and try to fix them yourself.

Change the trainz-version back using Edit in Explorer. :)

It's changing the build-number that gave the Error that's being shown. The rest are Warnings, however. If you put the trainz-version back to 2.1, the single Error will show up as a mere Warning.

Contrary to popular belief, Warnings do not stop an asset from working - only Errors do.

I hope that helps!

Kieran.

Ok put it back the way it was, and this is the only error I get. I guess its not good because it keeps the asset red and unusable. O well I tried. Thanks for the help.

This error is usually easy to fix and is caused by one of the following reasons:

1) The file actually doesn't exist.
2) It's different from the one that the config.txt file is looking for in the mesh-table;
3) It's spelled wrong in the config.txt.

To find out, open the asset for editing in Explorer and have a look.

While you are at it, you might as well as use PEV's Tools and PM2IM to convert the PM meshes to IM files, update the config.txt file, and use Quick Shadows to create a shadow PM right in the body folder.

The process takes about 3 minutes to do this. I probably did this to this asset about 6 years ago.

Well as far as I can tell the file doesn't exist in the config. I'm not sure I want to try and learn another program at this time. Thanks for all your help.

No program to learn. Seriously!

You use PM2IM to convert the PM to IM. You then take Quick Shadows to produce a Shadow.im file.

After that you edit the config.txt mesh-table to match the new file names.

Save everything, commit, and you're done.

It takes about as long to do it as I typed it.

If you don't have a mesh-table for the asset, you can either copy one from another working model, or use this here:

Code:
mesh-table
{
  default
  {
    mesh "gp9 high hood undec_body/gp9 high hood undec_body.im" <<<<<< ------ Substitute with your exact file name
    auto-create                         1
  }

  shadow
  {
    mesh                                "gp9 high hood undec_body/shadow.im" <<<<<< ------- Dido here...
  }
}

You rejected the above list too quickly. Choose one of those high hoods and reskin it as required. It already works in T:ANE.
