Yes to both questions, but remember Surveyor 2 in TRS22 PE does not convert routes to HD and can't edit HD terrain but you do get 99% of the other tools in Surveyor 2. I think it works really well with older routes. I've brought several of mine into TRS22 PE with no problems.
Yes, this is correct - I've just installed TRS22PE and all my TRS19 routes have gone over fine. The problem is missing dependencies, I think the 'packages' are different between the two versions, so that assets that are present and correct in TRS19 may not be in TRS22. Not sure how this works with TANE however!
I'd like to point out that HD Terrain is not available to a 'Standard' version of TRS22 PE. Nor the standard TRS22 vesions.
TRS22 PE, only features surveyor 2.0 and doesn't not feature to use HD Terrain or Multiplayer Surveyor Mode..
