Locomotive fuel

I posted this earlier but with the forum problems it has not shown up. So if it comes up twice I am sorry. I have been looking for a way to enable limited fuel for diesel locos. I have found a few forum post that say it needs to be enabled or certain engines. But how do you do that or is that a trainz 2009 feature? I have trainz 2006.

Not a lot of diesels actually have fuel. To name the only one I can think of off the top of my head is the gas turbines by Cloakedghost275. there are other but that's the only one I can think of without checking.

There are 3 of them included in TRS2006, though I can't remember which ones they are.

I wonder is it possible to copy the script from one to the other? I may have to try it. Any one else have any info.

The locomotives are copy and modify locked, that is, you can't copy or modify them. I think this has something to do with the fact that they were payware before they were included in 2006.

Is there a list of locos that support it? Or any way with out to make other engines do it. I would be fun to add on more level or realism. Trainz is awesome by the way!!

Realistic fuel consumption in diesels is not a feature in any current version of Trainz but requires a script to provide that feature. The 3 Phil_C SD70's that are builtin in TRS2006 have this feature. See:

L SD70 Norfolk Southern PRR,<kuid2:86105:5498:1>
Phil has other payware locos available on his site such as ES40DC's, ES44AC's, ES40DC's, ES44HAC's, C44-9W's, AC4400CW's, AC4400CW-CTE's, AC6000CW's, SD50's, SD60's, SD60M's, SD70MAC's, SD70M's, SD70I's, SD75M's and SD75I's, all of which have this capability.
