I downloaded some routes from trainzproroutes today and they are in CDP form. How do I put them in 2006??

OK, I have tried it both ways and it still won't let me do it. When I double click the CMP opens and another screen pops up and tells me that I have certain kuids installed. Tried to open CMP from Trainz and drag the cdp into the left hand window and it won't let me do that either.

I've got to be doing something wrong, but I don't know what it could be. Anyone else have any answers??

That pop-up has an option 'Display in main window' (or something like that). Click that option, then 'Edit > Select All' then 'Edit > Commit'.

Thanx Andy but it isn't working right, I still get that I have selected a route with no map. Guess there is something wrong with the CDP files.

Rusty,
If you have SP1 installed already, try this. It involves extra steps, but works for me as a fellow '06er.
I have all my downloaded CDP files in a folder marked 'Need to Install'. Right click and select 'Open With'>.......Content Manager Plus. After the file has been opened, I move it to another folder outside of the Auran file, labeled 'Installed'
( there is nothing like trying to remember where they all came from if something goes bad). Now that you have all your files on CMP, select the 'Open for Edit' and commit everything. Holler back if this does not work for you.

Im having the same problem, i download the CDP's and install them, commit the changes, and when i try to upload them it says that ive tried to open a driver/surveror session with no map loaded, and the track that i downloaded through cdps isnt usable, idk what to do

This is a different problem that occurs when you try to run a route build in a higher version of the simulator then the one you are using. Example: running in TRS2006 without SP1 installed a route build in TRS2006 with SP1 installed. Only way to solve this is to upgrade your own version by either installing available service packs or buying a newer simulator ( like TRS2009 ).
