LMS Coaching Stock, etc. Questions

Butner Lines Railroad Co.
Hi all,

after learning about the Potteries Loop Line having LMS Period II 57' coaching stock, I have developed an interest in LMS coaching stock. One of the carriages I'd like to learn more about, is the six-wheeled Stove R van. Another question is, whether the non-corridor coaching stock from Period I, II, and III(?) has any discernible differences.

HMRS.org probably has the information you require.

Basically PI coaches were fully panelled, PIIs were flush sided with a high waistline and PIIIs were also flush sided with a lower waistline and had windows with more rounded corners. PI/PII s had planked wooden ends and PIIIs had steel ends.
