Level Crossings

Hello,
i have some questions about Level Crossings,
in Real Life Railway, i think before a Level Crossings there are two sets of signals which inform the driver about the state of the Gate(closed, open,) and when last car passes the rear signal the gate open, the gate and the signal can be at any distance (1M to 800M), still only after last car passes only the gates open,

if you see the crossing signals in the link above, these signals have no connection with the main/train signals, this signals only control the level crossing, so is there any Level Crossing System like that in DLS or somewere for TS 2009 ???, please help, Thank you,

You could look at the ATLS system, it's on the DS. But I don't think it covers American signals.

To my knowledge no one has made any pre-signals that you refer to for Trainz. The level crossings in Trainz are controlled by either the Trainz crossing script or by the ATLS system refered to here.

How about the Diamond Crossover,<kuid2:44272:90001:4> ?

As far as I know that rule only controls diamond crossovers, not level crossings.

If what you are calling a level crossing is two tracks crossing at grade, in my RR experiences it is called a diamond. The "diamond" also appears in cross overs, but I have used the Diamond Crossing role for all "diamonds" both in cross-overs and also where to railroads cross each other. Look at the Rule - I think you will find it works.

In Suren57's original post he said when the Gates open and close which would mean where the highway or road cross's the track and a Level Crossing would control the road traffic. I stand by my original statement that the Diamond crossing rule will not control level crossings.

I thought the gate he was refering to was a crash gate which is used in some places to block the restricted line. I guess he was refering to a roadway crossing.
