Lenovo upgrades.

I got a new PC recently, it’s a Lenovo H430 and am looking to get a new GPU for Trainz 12 I was thinking of a Radeon HD 7850 2GB card or a GeForce GTX 550 Ti. I know that I need a new PSU for this setup and am leaning towards a FSP Group 450W Micro ATX12V PSU. One last thing is RAM, how much do you recommend for Trainz, is 4 enough?

My specifications are

CPU – i3 2130 3.4 GHz

RAM - 4GB

Will those GPUs even fit into your case? If they do I'm still not sure if that PSU has enough wattage to run them, however the model is 80 Plus so I'm not top fussed about the brand. 4GB seems like the Ideal minimum these days however 8GB is a good choice if your motherboard supports it due to the low cost. :)

i used 550 ti 1 gb with 450 watts ram so it will run not sure about 7850 and first make sure your case is enough to hold anyone

You need to be sure one of those cards would even fit in the case. I took a quick look at that machine and it's specs and it looks like it might only take low-profile cards. For the most part, the low-profile cards are very basic, non-gaming cards, although I do believe there is a LP version of the 7750 available.

The Lenovo website shows the ATI HD 7570(2GB) as the highest upgrade option available for the H430. So my guess would be that any video card more powerful than that would require a PS upgrade as well if you can find one that fits your case. If you have a 64 bit OS I would also recommend more RAM. According to Lenovo, you can install up tp 8GB.
