Leaving the Reskinning side of TRS2006

Hey all

Since I can't reskin any cool cars the right way and people saying that my Piedmont cars suck, I've decided to quit reskinning models. It really hurted my feelings when people said my Piedmont cars suck. So I need someone like Isaac or anyone to make some piedmont coaches and cover for me.

Tyle, I thought they were okay for a beginner. I've seen much worse than that and on the download station, to the point that that author forget to add any reasonably suited windows and doors.

Just because people may not like them doesn't mean they think they "suck" as you say. In my opinion, they could be better, but remember that you had a go.

Tyler, all people are doing are being honest with you SO THAT you can improve and get better. You won't learn to get better unless people are honest with you. You (or anyone) can't expect to get a "pass" at everything, which seems to be happening (has happened) with our education system.

I believe you. I'm coming back to reskinning models now. I just need help on making cabviews for them.

Don't let it or them get to you so much, it takes a lot of time and practice practice practice to be one of the best skinners and even more to be one of the few top builders/creators. Most people who upload stuff don't realise just how plastic and cartoon looking it is, your by far the only one but don't just give up. The best of all our creators were once making naff creations but look what they produce now after many many hours of PRACTICE.
Stick with it Kiddo and try not to get too discouraged. Good luck, :wave:

Thanks. But would someone please help me with the cabviews of my cars? I need someone who creates cabviews.

Forget to say Tyler, go to one of the default routes (from TRS2004 downwards) & look how terrible most of the built-in track looks - more like a cartoon than a cartoon itself!

Edit: Cabviews of passenger cars???

I woke up 15 minutes before my wake up alarm was set to go off.

My first thought was that I was going to leave the Trainz Community since I lost these 15 minutes of valuable sleep time.

But then, I decided NOT to leave the Trainz Community and I spent these extra 15 minutes reading forum threads... none in particular.

I am happy now.

lol this guy routebuilder/reskinner doesn't seem to have anything on the DLS. I'm leavin' the dodgy side of Trainz....;)
