Last Try At Missing Dependencies

Okay, this is my last attempt at finding these.

If any of these are trivial things like trees and stuff like that, can you tell me an asset that will fill the missing ones place adequately so i can then rename it to the kuid of the missing assets?

The asset pack from the Trainz Pro Routes doesn't have these in it, and it has been recommended many times.

I have more information on what this one may possibly be. I found these built-in assets that come directly before it's kuid, so it's obviously ment to be one of these.

If nothing can be done about the Box Butte & Meg's Despair and the TER North Eastern Fall Beta Re, can someone tell me how to get rid of them, as they are built-in and won't delete and i'm really getting sick of seeing these route in the Missing Dependencies in Content Manager Plus.

Hi,

Afraid I can't give you any specific help on the KUIDS but one thing might be worth trying:

Go to the Trainz download website (directly not thru Content Manager).
Tick the boxes for all versions of Trainz.
Set the search radio button to search by KUID.
Enter the KUID no and click search.
If you get a result download the missing KUID via FTP, this will give you a CDP file. On the trainz menu select Import CDPs and select the downloaded file.

This method sometimes finds assets on the DLS that Content Manager does not.

Re deleting built in Assets, you can't - but you can disable them. Select the Asset in CM. Right click and select Disable/Enable from the menu. This may stop the missing dependancies appearing.

Anything with a negative kuid ID, should be a built-in item, however, it may not exist in your particular version Trainz.

Kuid 143205 belongs to Spikerod, or, Torsten to give him his proper name, I'm unsure what it is, you could ask him on the German forum, he speaks excellent English.

Kuid 33404 is our old friend Dave Drake, these assets could be either trees, crops, buildings, or ????, try his website here - http://www.ttbwrr.com/

Kuid 101592 is grogstop65, who actually created the layout TER North Eastern Fall, you'll need to ask him where his assets are.

Kuid 2:45324:38003:2 I can't find, however, the original kuid 45324:38003 is on the DLS, so, you'll need to change the number in your route config.txt accordingly.

Kuid 60349 was Solagon from Germany, he did many ground textures, however, his website is no longer working and I have been unable to locate his assets anywhere, sorry, you may need to delete that off your map.

What I've Tried So Far

Okay I've gotten the Box Butte & Meg's Despair KUID's so their fine.

I'm still looking for a clue as to what the NSWGR 41 class loco asset actually is. From the others before it, it's either looking for a name or a type of loco for the KUID.

And grogstop65 isn't able to be contacted by private message, as it says he has too many to send one to him, so i don't know what to do about that.

What is Kuid 2:45324:38003:2?

And I've looked on the site for the 33404's, but haven't found them yet. I will look in everything in the site tonight. Any hints as to what these are more specifically would be good and helpful.

Found Something

I know what the NSWGR 41 class asset is. It's the engine sound. I went through the others and they had a dependency which was alco, which was the engine and i found it was the sound of the engine it's looking for. If anyone has the sound of the 41 class engine, which i"ve looked up as a Paxman 12-RPHL, please let me know.

The Kuids 33404: could be anything, as Dave Drake has created thousands of items for Trainz, you may need to ask him personally what these assets are.

Yeah, grogstop65 is a busy boy, I can only suggest that if it is only 1 asset, that you delete it from the map in the config.txt if you know how to do that.

If you find one of his recent posts on this forum - look for dmdrake, then send him a PM or e-mail, he's quite active and will answer any questions within a day or so, don't forget he lives in California which is hours behind or ahead of you.....
I have found that this could be one of his trees built for Trainz Eastern Routes as I have 2:33404:501686:2 which is described as Fall-5 20 meter and was built specifically for TER.

ex-railwayman is correct.:wave: You should contact TER, where you got the 'TER North Eastern Fall Beta'. I built TER a series of fall trees, years ago, and that KUID is one of them. Good luck.
