This is an easy fix.

In CM, open the asset for Edit in Windows Explorer.
Open the config.txt file and delete that line. Note use Notepad or some other text-only editor and not Word or Word Pad. The default Notepad should open this fine.

Save the Config.txt

Close the folder.

Commit the asset by highlighting it and pressing CTRL+M at the same time.

If there are more errors the asset will still have the red ! next to it, then you'll have to repeat the editing process to remove these errors.

Now remember. These errors always existed prior to TS2009 and up. The problems is the newer versions are more picky when it comes to errors within the config files and missing textures, so they errors are now flagged and the content won't load. The reason for this is to make the assets and program more stable. Prior to that, like in TRS2004, the program used to horse through the errors and ignore many of them. A result of this, the program was very unstable due to the errors, and very stuttery as the program would have to parse each error of each asset as the objects were loaded into driver.

Well you can always clone the asset, or even better. Save the original CDP files which you have, and if you stuff up one of the assets, close it, delete it and start from scratch, or even easier try a revert to original first if you're that worried.

The only thing you're wasting is your time and a few electrons. Remember there's no expensive wood or plastic kits here. :)

Have some confidence in yourself, dude. It' really not that hard.

No problem, dude.

Post your error list up in the Surveyors and Driver's forum. Include the asset name and KUID that the errors come from.

Here's something you'll find interesting:

Usually you if you can fix the problems in one of these assets, then 99.99% of the time these same fixes will apply to the rest of the content by the same creator. Over the past couple of years, since TS2006 and TS2009, I have fixed thousands of assets. The process takes about 2 minutes each, and is really easy once you get used to the routine.

So post the errors in the Surveyor's forum, and I'll take a look at them. If I can't help you, others can as well.
