Kuid problems

Hi guys,

I am running in circles with these 3 kuids in CMP and all my 24's are not working.
I seen them in my search, but I think I am too stupid to pinpoint them .
I am not sure if the problem is TR2006 related only .

Unknown Location: <kuid:44700:19404>
Unknown Location: <kuid:44700:50050>
Unknown Location: <kuid2:44700:19404:2>

What am I doing wrong and where can they be found please.

All present and working in 2009, 2010 and TS12 here.
As said I presume you have tried Trainzone for them? http://www.trainzone.co.nz/SRandRL.htm

I know Peter (narrowgauge) updated most of his items to work in newer versions of Trainz at the time I think using the minimum supported build of 2.7, thread on here somewhere about it, I'm guessing the original versions are no longer available.

44700:19404:2 is trainz-build 2.7 which is TC1&2 upwards and replaced 44700:19404.
44700:50050:2 is also 2.7 an updated version for TC1&2 upwards.

Not sure what version the originals were for but for 2006 you need trainz-build 2.6 or lower, just use a newer version and backdate the build to 2.6, if you can't in 2006, do it in 2010 then save to cdp and import into 2006, that should work as it's only the build number that's a problem.

I'm curious as to why 2006, when you have 2010 and TS12 which are both far better versions and you won't have all this backdating / incompatibility problems trying to use items in older versions? 2010 in compatibility mode should enable you to run anything older as well, if not better than 2006 according to several on here.

Thank for the info.:Y: I will go see there when my turbo kicks in. I can't really understand why google takes me to timbucktoo and back sometimes & popular websites are ignored.

clam - I hear what you say :D.
There is so much going on in trainz and so much to learn still I think I stick to the version I know better while learning and slowly building on the other versions which seems to bring on other challenges like errors and faulty stuff that has to be . Besides that I am a NG fan too and although I have started downloading NG older content like Northbay County to the later versions I have no FCT and not enough gigs to do all at once. So I play and learn all the time.( I hope ) Much worse when one only started learning about computer tech late in life. Somebody pulls a blanket over your memory and pokes a stick in your spokes when you hit to the late fifties you know...If I am on the wrong track please change my switches.:mop:
