Keeping up with content?

I was placing cars in a session and I was having a hard time finding the ones I like. For instance I want a 40ft boxcar. Some I find filtering 40ft, some filtering box, others have other names in front of them. So my question is how do yall manage your content?

I have started a spreadsheet and put my favorite grass, trees, houses, etc. in there for quick reference. This works but just wanting to know how others keep up with their stuff.

I have been away from Trainz for a few years and I have forgetten a lot, but I'm having fun with TS12.

I find the easiest and must durable method is to just change the username to something you will recognize.

I actually use the first letter and the end letter to help me, or i use the the country of the item and filter it by country.
