I was making some adjustments to one of my routes in wire frame and saw this configeration. Doesn't appear to be harming anything but made me curious. Any ideas? And while I was taking one screen shot I figured I'd take a few more of this route that I'm working on.

It is simply how high or low you have made the ground.

Blundyboy, I'm not sure I understand your answer. I'm refering to the little boxes configuration. Looks to be about 50 of them, I didn't count them.

I've seen this before in the wire-frame view of routes that I have - the boxes are 'shadows' from consists placed nearby. I don't know how they come about as they are not generated by all items of rolling stock and may, indeed, be related to the shadow effect feature of some rolling stock items.

Don't seem to harm the frame rate in any way so I just ignore them- wierd though.
