I would hate to live in picture 4th to last.

I mean, sure, watch the trains, but think... How could you sleep?

[Closes eyes] ..... [All is silent and still] ..... [aaaWOOOOOOOOOOOT] ..... [:n:]

LOL yes its supposed to be abandoned but I couldn't find any other buildings.(just in case you didn't notice all the weeds and grass overgrowing the track.)

Interesting.

I think the use of graffiti is apt for that area, as just about any building and vehicles in abandoned places tend to be covered in graffiti. Did you apply that graffiti, or was it "preloaded" shall we say ...:o

Just a little earlier this day I was at http://www.go-railz.de/download.html

they have some track that might interest you ... the grass track.

There is also some transition track transitioning from brown sleepers to grass track. That may also be of interest to you.

I find your modelling interesting. Reminds me of the work John - grogstop65 did on TER Monnesson City, around the back loops and around the warehouses. And yes, grogstop had trains going past houses and buildings and so forth, very close by. Very close. He achieves an interesting verisimilitude. You saw his sunrises in the other thread?

You are heading in that direction, with interesting work.

Some new pics.

Here is CN loco number 4017 readying up for its run to the autoloader.
Screen_076.jpg

Here is the loco turning onto the branch line going to the autolader pulling a consist of 22 intermodels.
Screen_077.jpg

Here the train is entering the former abandoned branchline.
Screen_078.jpg

Here is the train approaching the wye(left being the old abandoned idustriel(sp) section and right being the autoloader.)
Screen_079.jpg

Passing the old abandoned siding that will evetually be fixed.
Screen_080.jpg

Continuing past the abandoned siding.
Screen_081.jpg

Here is the locos uncoupling from the consist.
Screen_086.jpg

Here are the locos pulling away from the consist.
Screen_087.jpg

Here are the locos running around the consist passing the switcher that the Chrysler auto company rents from CN for its shunting work.
Screen_087.jpg

Here is the shunter pulling 6 cars away from the front of the train.
Screen_089.jpg

Here is the switcher backing the cars down to where it was formerly sitting.
Screen_090.jpg

Here are 3 cars being loaded with some Mercedes Benz, while the other 3 have already been loaded with some Chryslers.
Screen_091.jpg

Screen_092.jpg

Here is the switcher pulling forward to collect the cars.
Screen_093.jpg

Pulling the cars back out so they can be coupled to the awaiting locos.
Screen_094.jpg

Here is the switcher backing the cars down to the awaiting locos.
*please no posts.

Screen_095.jpg

Screen_096.jpg

Now the switcher has pulled away from the train and the locos have coupled to the train to pull it a little further down the line.
And in the background you can see an old F7 that used to do the shunting. And the swither will do this at least 3 more times.
