Just a Tool ....

Hello Sethmc,

I do have TR06 which comes with Trainz map, so I am assuming that it will give you the same information I have posted above this thread, how long is the tracks and how many signs, how large is the baseboard?

I have not open trainz map as of yet, since I have I not been into trainz, and besides, perhaps someone might have come across another tool as well!:hehe:

Thanks for the link:wave:

As far as I know Trainzmap is the only tool that can give you any information on the lay-out. It does a great job at as well. I hope one day a TC update will be available.

Ish,

TrainzMap will show signs.
If by track length, you mean how many boards tracks run on, yeah.
Now baseboard number you have to look at TM a certain way.
Say you do a 4 x 4 baseboard oval and remove the middle 4 boards. TM will show 16 board squares because that is how it displays, even though the middle 4 are gone, they get marked as if they are there. A good way to count boards in TM is only count where the tracks are, some routes might have additional ones on the side but unless those boards have something on them shown in TM like a sign, you can't tell.
There is another program I know exists somewhere that counts precisely how many boards a route has, forget the name, try searching for +Baseboard +Count.
