Junction tutorial / guide??

Is there a thread that explains how to navigate some of the more complex train yards as far as the junctions? I am having a lot of trouble getting my train or loco to go where i want it. I see four junction switch levers but CANNOT figure out for the life of me how to set them to go either straight through them' or left' or to the right etc. Thanks in advance!!!

Two ways, CTRL H turns the arrows and junction number display on and off, and M brings up the ingame map.

In the map options, turn junctions on, trackside labels off, that gets the arrows without all the text cluttering up the display. Right click mouse to move around the map, mouse wheel zooms in and out. Click on the arrows to throw switches.

Option 2, without the map, hit the #4 key for the free roaming view, right click the mouse to slide around and play switchman. Move along the route you want your train to take, throwing each switch in sequence to set the route. Green arrow indicates which way the switch is set.

Once you have them all set, hit 2 or 1 to go back to your train, release the brakes and go.
