Judith Basin WIP Thread

I finally decided to start a WIP progress thread on a route i've been working on for a month and a half The Judith Basin route is a freelanced route based in north central Montana area around Lewistown and Great Falls. This was originally something I started on when I first got TS10, but I lost it when I reinstalled the game Now, i've got the orginal part remade from memory and i'm extending the route east and west with more towns and industries.

Good start. Be sure to "marry" those bridge supports to the ground with some vegetation though.

I've got some new shots of what's been done so far. I merged one of my unfinished routes with this, and it looks great!

Here is a new section in this shot where a spur to a coal mine will be built... eventually

The rest of the shots are taken on the merged section.

Before people start asking about the track, the track i'm using is called "Track (Jointed Rail)" on the DLS by jmann along with the crossing in the 2nd to last shot.

So far, i've been working on the coal mine scene on the route and laying more track. Texturing has started, but there isn't much to see right now. Oh, and does the jvc grass in some of the pictures look ok for the area the mine is in? It's a tall light green yellowish grass.

man this looks epic! may I ask what that grass is?

I do apologize for the lack of updates. I haven't been motivated enough to work on this lately. Some texturing has been done and some grass was planted on the eastern portion of the route.

I need to retake this shot with some more details in the valley.
