JR Generic Locomotive Shops

Which question mark ... the one referring to the Trainz Help Menu?
In Surveyor Classic.
Click on the Scenery objects tab.
Click on the "?" and then click on the building.

This will bring up a properties window with the sliders. You can name the asset here too if you want so that it doesn't say Jointed Rail Generic Locomotive Shops or Jointed Rail Generic Locomotive Shops 1, Jointed Rail Generic Locomotive Shops 2, etc., as you put down more than one.

In Surveyor 2 there's a properties panel for assets, but I can't remember what it looks like from memory.

John, in S2 you want to select the object by clicking on it and then click on the little icon to get the context menu where you choose Edit Properties.
That opens a menu similar to the one used by TLR. You can adjust the doors there and click save changes. Now by default you are paused in surveyor so you won't see any changes until you unpause using the menu. For some reason, the P key doesn't activate the changes in TRS22 PE. You have to unpause in both Surveyor Classic and S2 to see the changes happen. That is likely what was tripping up the OP.

Thank you for the steps. Classic Surveyor is so ingrained into my memory that I can go through the steps away from my computer. I also think the pause also tripped him up. Plus has the same issue with the P-key.
