Jointed Rail Error

Hello all,

When I tried to download the F7's from Jointed Rail (http://www.jointedrail.com/), but when I clicked on the picture of the train to download it, this page came up and then Internet Explorer froze:

This happens whenever I try to download from Jointed Rail. Can anyone please help me?

Have you tried checking the settings it says to check? This could be something with some scripts that they use, and IE is having trouble displaying the content because of it.

What version of IE? There are compatiblity settings for IE 8 and below. This may or may not help, but a lot of times it does.

If you have firefox, it works well, never have had a problem downloading content with it....

I also noticed that Jointedrail.com has some problems with I.E.

EDIT: Looked at your screen shot again, take a look at the yellow strip that says the file was restricted, try downloading it again and if the yellow strip comes up, click on it and see what the options are.....

Good Luck

This must be a javascript thing then. MS has become very security conscious about scripting, and has put many lockdowns on JS in particular.

I have everything freeware from JR and most of their payware. I use IE exclusively and never a hint of a glitch...
