JOINTED RAIL BEACON LIGHT????

I have quite a few jointed rail downloads that have the beacon function, however when i get to operating them how do i turn them on???

I think you use the 1 key on the number pad. Its been awhile sence i used it so that might not be the one.

That button in cab mode and in dcc mode takes you into the cab of the locomotive and does not turn anything on? but i appreciate your reply

Are you sure? I'm at work right now and cant try it. I know the number keys on top takes you inside the cab but i was thinking the number keys on the right hand side (number pad) turns on the beacon. I will try it when i get home in 3 hours.

It is the 1 key on your number pad on the right side of the keyboard, not the top left number keys 1.

Im having quite the same issue,

But i hit 1 on the keypad, and nothing happens.

Will it work on the laptop because I only have a top pad but one of the trains just go on their own at least thats what I think.

Try the EMD demo sd60 from JR and see if that one works... I'm thinking the free soo sd60 from JR did not work for me but the demo did.

I don't know of any jointedrail locomotives that works that way. The beacons should work with the 1 key on the number pad.

Make sure you have all the new dependencies. The demonstrator pack has the old dependencies in the pack that will do that if you overwrite the newer dependencies.

there was an old dependency for the beacon that was for some reason invisible. the beacon works fine you just couldnt see it. there should be an update on the DLS.
