The celebrated poet John Betjeman travels by train (in the early 1960s) from the port town of King's Lynn to the seaside at Hunstanton, Norfolk, UK. Wolferton Station on the Royal Sandringham Estate is featured in the film. For a while in the 1970s and 1980s Wolferton Station housed a public museum on royalty using the line until the early 1960s as this station is less than a few miles from the royal residence of Sandringham House. This once royally important station is now a private residence. The line to Hunstanton itself finally closed in 1969 from less passengers using it. Today, hardly any trace of the trackbed remains, except for the existing stations in private use. Heacham Station on this West Norfolk line is now holiday accomodation and has an BR MK1 coach alongside its platform serving as unique holiday accomodation. Hunstanton station has long since gone and now is the site of the large car and bus park.
