Many of the jk/andi06 items DO appear in Surveyor BUT none of the Junction Kit items appear at all, even in Objects...

Content Manager shows that they are indeed installed (without any errors of any kind), in versions ranging from 1 to 10. None of them appear in any of the tabs in Surveyor and I would like to ask for assistance from andi06 or anyone else who knows what need to be done to 'use' these moveable junctions...

I see in the Forums where others are using them in Version 2010 Engineers Edition but have not been able to discover any Threads with assistance that would help me.

Thank you in advance for any assistance: John :)

I've got the junctions working in 2010, junctions to be found in the industry objects, wiring in the track bit.

Industry Objects

I have the Objects 'tab', but there are NO subheadings. All of the Objects are in just one large list in alphabetical order...

Scroll until you get to JK, same for the wiring. If you've not used them before go to AJS-TRS for a PDF of how to's.

jk Not There

fran...as explained, none of the parts for the junction kits appear. I have searched thoroughly for them in the tabs in surveyor. They are all installed according to Content Manager, but do not show up when I'm in Surveyor...

Have just re read the first post, you mention 1-10.
What does your CM describe the asset as.
I have JK point 06, JK point 10 and JK point 20. Several variations of each.

jk library

The entire jk library is in the Installed section of Content Manager - colored wires, points, sleepers, spacers, track ,transitions, spacers, way gauges, catch points, and all of the many turnouts... They just DO NOT show up in the Surveyor menu (Objects) when I want to 'create' a layout.

I think I remember seeing a Route with the turnouts missing that I wanted to 'drive'! I'm guessing the missing turnouts are andi06's!

Any help greatly appreciated: John

P.S. I created a very extensive layout in Trainz2006 using the Junction Kit turnouts a few years ago and would like to use them again. There are no files open for edit.

If they are installed and show up in CM then I can think of no reason they are not in the Surveyor menus except either they are open for edit or there is a fundamental 'something' missing.

Post a screencap of them listed in CM...

Andy :)

Screencap?

Content Manager will not allow a 'copy/paste' of these items and that's the only way I know how to transfer them...

They were Downloaded and Installed entirely from the Content Manager...absolutely everything that was there from andi06.

Screencap - With CM open and the screen showing as much of the junction kit as possible Press 'PrntScrn' then 'Ctrl+V' into any graphics program. Save as jpg

...absolutely everything that was there from andi06.

Not trying to be silly but if absolutely everything is there and they are not open for edit then they will show up. They work in 10 for me and they work in 10 for many many other people so let's assume the issue is neither TS10 nor the assets themselves. That leaves an issue with your install. First place to look is at the beginning: do you have everything; is it committed. I'm willing to wager a small stack of coins that the requested screencap shows an issue. If it doesn't then we look further, but I'm not getting into all the esoteric 'maybes' till we have clobbered the fundamentals...

Have you by any chance got the "only display favorite content" option ticked in Options>Surveyor Settings?

If so, surveyor will only show content that you have given a 5-star rating to.

Genius

stovepipe...you're a genius! That fixed it! TYVM! :D

Never looked there before...must be ticked automatically.

Again...thank for the assistance!
