@Railshuttle.

I am not at my computer but the track used is definitely a Hirochi Asset. So if you download all his Shinkansen tracks you should have that track. If I am in Trainz this weekend I will look up the Kuid number.

according to DLS. I have already downloaded all the track that hirochi has uploaded on to DLS.
i do have 2 unknown missing dependencies.

@ Rowletmaster

Hope your day is good.

Here are the two missing track types. Sorry indeed they weren't Hirochi track they are SAM Tracks:

Following Kuids:

SAM Track - concrete - junction v1 <kuid2:132952:100339:2>
SAM Track - concrete - junction v4 <kuid2:132952:100339:2>

@pagroove so i went and downloaded the sam tracks. as per the kuid you have suggested. However after I downloaded Sam train's tracks. The tracks never fixed itself, i checked the list dependencies and it still didnt register the track being downloaded (nor was it included in the first place?).
Is there a way i can make the route now register that the track exist now?
unsure do i need to worry about it too because i am also missing <kuid2:811766:21098461:1> and <kuid2:516852:1027:27>

Mmm that is strange. I try to see what the other missing kuids are. But it says the tracks are not installed even though you have downloaded them? On which build are you btw?

The other KUIDS that you are missing are:

The other KUIDS that you are missing are (pasted from the config.txt)

kuid <kuid2:811766:21098388:1>
username "KHB - [JP] Road 1"
trainz-build 2.9
kind "track"
category-class "SR"
category-era "2010s"
category-region "JP"
author "kurotrick"

And:

kuid <kuid2:811766:21098461:1>
username "KHB - [JP] Sidewalk2"
trainz-build 2.9
kind "track"
category-class "SF"
category-era "2010s"
category-region "JP"
author "kurotrick"

All the SAM stuff in my route used are the tracks I mentioned. To test if they are really installed. Start yourself a 1 baseboard route and use CTRL +F and type SAM. Then the SAM tracks should come up.

@pagroove (i had to keep doing this instead because the fourm is broken when i tried clicking reply)
For the build. I cant really tell exactly because the last time i downloaded the latest version the name of the route never changed so it just had keep saying "2.0" (cuz i think that just by downloading the latest version and putting into trainz, it should've just update the route).
although when was the last latest version of icarus shinkansen? might try download it again.

@pagroove good news. a reinstall have worked! the tracks have shown up in the base route!
Although how can i apply the changes into my personal route versions of Icarus shinkansen? or would i have to make a new one and changes cant be applied?
btw where can i find those 2 missing assets from KHB?

honestly the only reason why i still play trainz is because of the japanese trains. what only sucks is that you dont have that many new custom assets to build routes around with.

Yes that Running Train looks really good. But it is one route. Maybe I buy it. Still curious what he gonna do with it.

Also as it is in Unreal Engine curious how long routes can get there.

I also have JR East- Train sim installed here with 5 DLC's but that is expensive (crazy expensive if you ask me + plus it eats HD room at 25 GB per route on average)) But I have the Yamanote Line, Tokaido Line, Joban line Shin-Etsu Line and the new Seibu Ikeburuko DLC's and also the E231-1000 Train dlc. It is basically a Deluxe video player lol. But it scratches some itches.

Trainz still have a good mixture of all things Japanese.

In short I want to say: No Sim is perfect. The perfect train sim doesn't exsist.

@pagroove i will give them an ask. and regards to applying the changes into my personal route versions of Icarus shinkansen?
or would those i will have to make a new one and since the changes cant be applied?

I am also curious is beyond katano. Is there going to be more in a long future update?
