You have a few Japanese heritage steam and electric locomotives here https://japanesetrainzheritage.weebly.com/ including some on the DLSRecently I found a video about a TANE JGR class 9850, 6760, and also an 8700 it resembles the real locomotives that they based of. Does anyone have it or know how to get it?

Thanks so much for the link! It is very helpful. Even though his detail isn't the finest unlike others like Keimei as an example I still appreciate his efforts to make these more exotic Japanese locomotives.I know the guy who makes these models, we call him Lemberg
A Trainz user from Japan, he loves the NER 4CC, and his models are... Moderate. They don't have that much detail, but hey.. he's still quite new to and improving as time goes. I've had to help him a few times when his models won't export and in that process teaching him how to prevent or fix problems like this in future.
While his models don't look the best now, I see gemstone that's just waiting for the day to be cut in him. Kinda like myself when I started
Here's his YouTube channe; https://youtube.com/@lembergs2544?si=eJpy4hhHigBxEtS7
And his website where you can get these models; https://sites.google.com/view/lembergduncasterworks2544/trainz-コンテンツ/モデル
update. i found him, didn't realize he's also on the forums @HirokiinoLemberg

TBH I got burnt out hard on Route building in the later half of 2025 but recently picked up the Icarus Shinkansen building again and yes I did not forgot Electro Island. Main reason for the big silence was that I got a new modern pc ( late 2025 spec pc) So migrating everything took a while even when I prepared for it.
Now that I am stable on the new platform:
Electro Island 6:
I have an internal build called Electro Island 6 which I can share also if there is enough interest. I will probably do the shares on my Google Drive and post them here.
In this build the largest differences are that Electro Island 6 is a native Trainz 2019 build version. It includes a lot of bug fixes on the Shinkansen and also a speed change on the Shinkansen line from 220 to 260 km/h to reflect a more modern (Kyushu like) scenario. I plan to bugfix and enhance the entire route a little further but at the moment it is my secondary project.
Icarus Shinkansen v2.7 (upped the version internally) is still first priority and building is still going on. Man In hindsight I would inform my former self to not start such a large route lolbecause it is now about 10 years in the making. I started in 2017 with it if I remember it correctly.
Projects ongoing:
Icarus Shinkansen and Electro Island are therefore still ongoing projects but the build tempo is lower. In the meantime RL went on and I just played a lot of other games and simulators (Flightsim 2020 in combination with add ons and Simbrief/Navigraph so realistic flying), No Mans Sky= my forever space game and recently picked up Crimson Desert. So yeah a lot of distractions and yes largely triggered because I wanted to test how far my new system can go.
Fun or not so fun observation regarding Trainz
Weirdly best version running on a new pc is still Trainz 2019 SP1 (150fps). Therefore I am aiming to have it at least stable running in that build. In Trainz 2019 SP4 they changed something to the way splines work (is my feeling) and they sometimes disappear when running at high speeds on the Shinkansen above speeds 200 km/h. Not good as the main theme of the route is Shinkansen. Anyone else having this problem at builds higher then Train 2019 sp1. So SP1 is working perfectly then at higher versions at high speeds I get this problem.
I even fiddled with settings in the AMD Adrealin Software (I have a 9070XT) to change the speed of texture streaming. That would sometimes help but TBH the change is somewhere in the Trainz Engine itself. And 2019 sp4 feels a lot more clunky. So I am afraid of buying and testing Trainz 22. But for now the most future-roofing of the route is on Trainz2019SP4.
Future plan (for now at least)
So from this week I had a holiday and when feeling less stressed I began appreciated te route building again and hope to build further at a steady phase.
