Some pictures from the Massate Passenger Terminal.

It is a large station with 12 stub passenger tracks, sizable engine and coach servicing facilities as well as a freight station. Here, two contemporary images and one from the 1930s.

An E.402a locomotive waiting at Massate with an Intercity train as an ETR.500 high-speed train leaves the station.

A E.655 fast freight locomotive, one of the most powerful Italian locomotives, resting between assignments

A E.626, the first Italian 3,000 V DC electric loco in a picture of many years ago.

I scrolled through the prototype photos to see how the Trainz version compared, then realized...those ARE the trainz version!

Hello, I'm Luigi, I live in Milan, Italy. I'm working on this route from February 2007, using TRS 2006 International. This is a free-lanced station, representing no real prototype, but it is however a realistic representation of a mid-sized Italian terminal.
As Pendolino has already stated, there are 12 tracks for passenger service and another dozen for the coach yard, engine facilities and freight depot.
The objects used are all 2006 default content or TrainZItalia downloads.
Since this is a very detailed layout, it does not run very well on older PCs and requires a powerful PC to be appreciated in all his detail.

More shots from Massate Passenger Terminal. Though it is a free-lanced station, Massate is supposed to be somewhere in Northern Italy, so traffic with neighboring Switzerland is intense and Swiss trains are a common sight.

Here, a consist of Swiss coaches is arriving behind a E.656 heavy passenger loco.

Meanwhile, a consist of the Italo-Swiss company Cisalpino leaves for Switzerland with a E.652 at the head

High-speed service to other major Italian cities is performed by ETR500 HSTs
