Issues with SnC content on custom routes (TS12 SP1 w/HF4)

Butner Lines Railroad Co.
Hi all,

I am having a rather confusing issue with SnC content. Whenever I use it on my custom routes, random items will sometimes lose their textures, turning white. This can range from the many SnC assets becoming solid white, to just the piping on top of the Mk1s. When running a normal session on SnC, everything seems to be fine, except when used on my route. It is worth mentioning that occasionally, the Berkshire sometimes does the same thing, along with the other N3V DLC locomotives. However, this isn't as frequent. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

EDIT: When running a session on SnC this morning, the problem did occur. So, I found out that it isn't exclusive to my routes.

Hi, I have seen this behaviour but I have been unable to isolate the cause. There seems to be some common factors like using DLC in my own routes AND using SCS2014 but the effects can be catastrophic. Once the asset has had all the texture stripped, it will remain stripped. Look in the Pick tab for the asset in surveyor or train shed and the picture is replaced with the newly stripped asset. The only way to recover is to open the asset in CM, open and close a file in the asset (I usually choose config.txt) and then roll back using ctrl-r. Pressing ctrl-r without opening and closing a file from the asset will not rollback the asset. I cannot find out if the problem is in the DLC or using SCS2014 but certainly using both will cause at least one DLC asset to loose its texture.

Hi

I've been beta testing and using SCS2013 and its predecessors for almost 3 years and have never seen this issue. Perhaps its some combination of hardware and/or drivers causing it. Is gp742 using SCS?

Hi

SCS2013 is a rule that replaces all other rules and driver commands in a session. It contains well over 100 commands including a number of conditional commands which allow the AI to make decisions about what to do in various situations. As it uses an external editor to enter commands for individual trains then you would definitely know if you were using it.
