Issues with Headphones and Framerates

I know this does not relate to Trainz, but I have noticed some pretty bad crackling and static in my headphones giving me a headache over long periods of play time. I did some research and found out my wireless router interferes with my signal to my headphones. Is there a way to fix this?

Turtle Beach X31 wireless headphones

Also, my frame rate is pretty low when I zoom out in some of the city scenarios so I adjusted the draw distance to as low as it can go and it still seems to make the buildings disappear when I rotate the camera angle back and forth. Can this be fixed with a new processor, video card, memory...

I would appreciate the input from all users. I Loooooooooove the game though (2012) , it seems to run quite smoothly when in cab view.

Here are my specs
windows 7
AMD Phenom Triple-core processor 2.2 ghz
3.25 usable ram
Nvidia GeForce 550 Ti

Try moving your router to a different location, or changing the channel. My brother had this issue with his wireless headsets.

The Turtle Beach headsets are nice. I have their X11 wired version. The only problem I have is the ear pieces tend to squish my glasses a bit, and that gives me a headache.

You might want to boost your RAM a bit in your system. What version of Windows 7 are you running? 64-bit Windows 7 runs very well with 8GB of RAM. This leaves a good amount left over for other applications to run at the same time.

When you say framerate is low when zooming in and out, do you mean in Surveyor? This is possible because of the way the program is loading stuff off your hard drive. In Driver it loads a bit differently, I think.

Speaking of hard drives, how much space do you have? This makes quite a bit of difference too with how Windows, or any OS will operate for that matter.

I'm sure others will poke in here soon and come up with more questions and answers for you. :)

Oh its a big one (HDD) Sata Terabyte sized Monster Lol. I should name my hard drive Shmodzilla!

The windows is 32 bit.
I'm speaking of the Driver portion of the game.
Changing the channel would be a better Idea, I just unplug the thing when it gets really bad.

Could this be an issue with memory on the G-card too? there should be a gig on it. I'm running my native res of 1440x900

Unless I get a new puter, I'll be in 32 bit land for a long time.

By the way, off topic again, for 2012 is there a site for downloading new routes ya'll would recommend? I want to find the CSX train that runs down Kennesaw, Ga with Southern Pacific rail cars, the ones with yellow painted ends and looks like steel siding down the side.
