Issue with Ben Neals H8 Alleghany and Virginian AG locomotives

As a C&O and Virginian fan, I was tickled to death that Ben completed his work on these two locomotives the other day. I downloaded them, along with the required dependencies he listed on his page. All the content downloaded with no errors and no faults shown in content manager. When I go into surveyor to place the locomotive and tender so I can run them, both engines and tenders show up in my rolling stock list like normal. But, when I click on the engines and attempt to place them on the track, they do not show up on the track. If i click on the tenders and place them, they show up on the track like normal. I have ran a quick and extended database repair to no avail, and I see nothing obviously wrong when I open the engines in content creator plus.

I am running the latest version of trainz 12 and Windows 7.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Check the Dependencies in CM, one possibility is that one of those is faulty or missing.

No dependencies missing or faulty per CM search tab. Unfortunately, I cannot view the dependencies individually because the right click link is grayed out. That appears to be another wonderful issue with the newest version of trainz 12...

Not me. Must be his installation. Try re-installing the locos, and report back.

No problems for me in TS12, SP1, 61388.

I'm pretty sure there are some dependencies you'll need to download from the Download Station, unless you just happen to already have them installed.

Hmmm, If your CM isn't doing something it should be, that sounds like something going on with your CM. Can you view Dependencies on the Tenders? How do you know theres no missing or faulty dependencies if you can't view them? Just because CM doesn't flag an asset as having issues doesn't mean there aren't any, particularly if you can't view said dependencies independently.

TS12 SP1+, V61388, and neither of them behave anything besides normal. Theres something going on here I agree, but I don't think its his locomotives. Only thing I can suggest is try reinstalling them because perhaps them or one of their dependencies has been corrupted?

I had the same issue too, the C&O Hooter is the one that is faulty, so i just replaced it with the Big Boy whistle and it works fine.

I don't know for certain, but when I installed it in T:ANE SP1HF4, it had a missing dependency: <KUID:523:1972198>. This is 'N&W Y6B Interior', and is not included in T:ANE. Ben Neal was on the Forums recently, and there's a thread on the Freeware section of the Forums he made. Try sending him a Private Message (PM) about this and see if he'll do something about it.
