Is there a big station that can hold about 500 or more people?

I presume you mean 500 waiting on the one platform? Or a total of 500 spread out over several platforms at the one station?

The maximum number waiting on a single platform (or each platform in a multi-platform station) is set in the station properties - theoretically you could set it to any number you wanted for any size platform. For small platforms 500 would mean a hot and sweaty wait for the commuters.

There are plenty of long multi-platform stations available on the DLS. Those by "andi06", "bloodnok", "pd1138" and "tafweb" come readily to mind.

Of course your trains must have a carrying capacity to match - the typical railway carriage on the DLS seems to have a passenger capacity of 50-60 so sets of 10+ cars would be needed to move that many passengers.

Thanks for your reply,

"normal" stations have a max on them though, the most platforms I used are about 40-80 people max, wich is not enough for me lol. :)

So I wanted 500 on 1 platform lol. I am going to try your platforms out. :) I'll let you know what happens.

So, I got the one of bloodnok, and first off, there could be 152 people on that platform, it's a improve, not there yet

So then I tried to edit the file, and made the max 1000, but ofcourse no more passengers appear on the platform. When I entered 500 passengers, and then went playing, there were 256 people (number, not viewable)

Is there anything I can do to get it to 500 or so?

The mesh used for the station has to have an attachment point defined for each passenger you want to be visible on the platform. You are therefore limited by the number of points in the existing mesh used for the platform. Increasing the queue size beyond the number of available points might get more passengers but the extras won't be visible. Placing the 500 mesh points would have to be done by the person owning the gmax (original mesh) files.

I don't know whether this would work, but you could try adding an extra mesh in the mesh table. The mesh would consist of a small textured cube (needed for exporting to Trainz) and the extra passenger attachment points correctly numbered to follow on from the existing ones. You would then need to modify the config file to extend the queue.
