More clarity needed in your question, please. Why doesn't the list revert to the last used setting?
If you don't play Trs 22 often the you start trains see top of screen routes then to the left purchased. This what I would like to change because it forces another unnecessary click by me. much easier if it reverts to the last setting. I don't open trains 22 GOLD PASS to purchase items every time I open it as I go to My Content. Its like the Navigate to command to many menus.More clarity needed in your question, please.
Which list? Content Manager, Trainz Store or Routes/Session in the Driver/Surveyor selection?
As a guess do you mean the line of routes with coloured bars (at the top of their thumbnails) when you select the Driver/Surveyor option from the Trainz Main Window? If so then no, the list will always default to that view. I always start by typing in the first few letters of a search request in the Search text box at the top of the screen. This narrows down the list.
If it helps take a look the Trainz Wiki page at Route_and_Session_Basics.
I do more creating than purchasing! Those screens are meant to be an online store interface as well as seeing installed content. So the powers that be chose to default to the purchased filter setting. Compared to the Content Store interface, it works better at giving the user more information about what items you are about to install.
Rubbish its just plain advertising. Those screens are meant to be an online store interface as well as seeing installed content. So the powers that be chose to default to the purchased filter setting. Why would it be advertising to list what you have already purchased? On the contrary, it serves as a reference so you can see if you have downloaded and installed all your purchases..Rubbish its just plain advertising.
Yes what I haven't purchased also so it is advertising pure & simple so why can't it be change to last used.Rubbish its just plain advertising.

I'm in this boat. it's an unnecessary extra step every time I go to test an engine in a controlled environment to filter down beyond all the junk I will never use with my trainz+ subscription in order to find my own routes.I do more creating than purchasing!
My, aren't you charming. You are free to have any opinion you like but what I said is true because it is the answer I was given by N3V 5 years ago when I asked the same question. BTW, Trainz has had advertising in game since N3V took over from Auran. Believe it or not, they are trying to make money.Rubbish its just plain advertising.
If N3V ever adds a “remember last tab” option, it will be a notable event.
That was something I asked for when Tony replied to the thread saying that the menu is WIP.I agree with the OP, it's a pain in the rear end. Needs an option to set default launch tab.
At least a bookmark or something, right? That was something I asked for when Tony replied to the thread saying that the menu is WIP.
I think I had also asked for a recently used tab. That would be more useful once we've started using the program a lot especially when working on a route and session for months at a time.
Yes, something like that or even add that option to the scroll box.At least a bookmark or something, right?
