I have been trying to get onto the Download Station for hours and all I get is a blank screen. Probably just a temporary problem for some odd reason but just wondered......
 
Well it's a little after 1:00 in the afternoon and we haven't heard anything. This could mean we've found a good one and they're busy running around like chickens without heads right now. It's typical of Mondays that I don't miss!
 
For me the last two days have been DL missing kuids for hours at a time. It's never ending. I hope it's DL content and just downloading the same stuff over and over.

The same for me as well. I noticed a pattern and it must be due to the management software. The DLS works great for a couple of months then it slowly gets clunky, starts to miss downloads, and then it crashes.

If I were the support staff, I would schedule periodic reboots every couple of weeks to clear the cache and fresh brains the server. I used to have a similar problem with the old Audix voicemail system I managed. Eventually, the voicemail would sound like it was talking in slow motion. When it first occurred, I called Avaya support and the tech laughed. He then asked when was the last time I rebooted, and I said about a year ago. He said that as a record for keeping the system up and running for that long! So after that I'd reboot the system once a month and we never had a problem afterwards.
 
Same here tried several times over the last few days. I can use the old but that does not have the TANE Content
 
It's interesting that the web based DLS that is being retired works fine and the replacement web based DLS is nowhere to be found :)
 
Thanks for that black link John. I was getting dashed frustrated hour after hour going back to see if I could connect and right through today as well and have just came back to the Forums. With the added comments here there must be something wrong so hope your ticket is a help.
 
Still off late afternoon here. What happens when black page finally shuts down, as threatened. I find it much better than new version, especially speed of setting up downloads. I have both TS12 and Tane set up as not enough British contents in TANE, was under the impression, SnC and other routes and sessions would be updated and added, along with other Extra contents purchased for TS12. So far not over impressed with graphics was expecting more rounded hills, some parts look like TS2004 graphics, Train rock and roll as if they are travelling along cobbled roads, session end or consist de-rail for no apparent reason, forcing a restart. Gripes over for now:-P
 
Yes it is back with me too. Will get the butler to send John a carton of Irn Bru, Scotland's favourite soft drink.....
