Anyone done a multiple (3x or 5x) articulated wellcar for double-stacked intermodal trains in the US?
I have Dave Snow's TTX single 53ft wellcar, which I cloned and adjusted the masses for the car and the cargo as it was coming out too light. Loaded containers probably average about 25 tonnes, whereas the loads were 6000 kg, and the empty well car doesn't weight much (I believe around 8 tonnes) so a double-stack one you're looking at an all-up car weight of close to 60 tonnes.
However, reading up on it, I see that 3x and more multiple articulated units are pretty common, however not seen any on the DLS.
